HAPPY AL Z is a beautifully modelled, long-legged stallion, a real eye-catcher. Not only does HAPPY AL Z have a very interesting pedigree, he also has three good to very good basic gaits and let's not forget, a very nice character.

Sire H-EKWADOR is an appealing stallion, with a very interesting thoroughbred pedigree and extensive sport qualities. H-EKWADOR  is an imposing stallion. He achieved an Olympic dressage career at Grand Pris level with his regal appearance. He competed in the Olympic Games in London in 2012, the World Championship in Lexington, three World Cup finales and his sporting career has seen just as many European Top Rankings during the Grand Prix in Odense, Leipzig, Bremen, Warsaw and Hagen.
H-EKWADOR is very versatile and his lineage combines dressage with jumping and eventing. He unites the very best thoroughbred line of Heraldik XX with the fascinating Holsteiner lineage of Coronfino I.
Sire Heraldik XX was without doubt the best thoroughbred sire stallion in modern sport horse breeding. He performed at World Cup level in international jumping and is a successful sire of eventing, jumping and dressage horses. Examples of well-known Grand Prix jumpers are Herald II and Hoyo de Monterey. Butts Avedon was German national champion in the five-year-old versatile horses. Heraldik XX is ranked third in the WBFSH list as a sire of eventing horses. Perhaps his biggest breeding success was at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong. His sons, Butts Abraxxas en Butts Leon, won team gold there with Ingrid Klimke and Andreas Dubowski.
Second dam, Enigma (H-Ekwador' s dam), is a Holsteiner mare by Corofino (Corrado I x Fernando I). The dam' s line continues with third dam, Erna Klein. She is a daughter of the influential Landgraf I out of Ninea, a descendant of B. Raimond.

The dam of HAPPY AL Z is mare Norway, the daughter of the world-famous stallion Contender (now deceased). Contender was one of the most influential proven sires in the Holsteiner breeding. The reserve champion of the inspection in 1986 had been at breeding station Lienau, in Haselau, since 2001. Contender has 127 approved sons and 1,198 registered breeding mares. He has provided many good descendants, particularly in Oldenburg, where he sired in the first three years after his approval, such as elite mare

Contender passed on his jumping genes to his descendants. Contender' s offspring have won more than 7.7 million in jumping. Montender (ds. Burggraaf), bred in the Netherlands, won individual and team bronze in the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, with Marco Kutscher, and gold twice at the European Championship in 2005. Other successful Contender descendants are Checkmate (Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum), Collin (Toni Hassmann), Con Air (Lars Bak Andersen, Otto Becker and Jose Maria Larocca), Controe (Jörg Kreutzmann and Marco Kutscher), Chiara (Ludger Beerbaum), Carlo (Nick Skelton, Sergio Alvarez Moya) and Colore (Hans-Dieter Dreher).
Dam Norway is still being used for breeding. In Norway's dam's line, we find stallions Lavado and Cor De La Bryere, a few 1.60/1.45 and 1.35 metres jumpers and a ZZL dressage horse.

HAPPY AL Z is a real EYE-CATCHER. His BEAUTY, STRIKING movements and EXCELLENT character, not to mention his EXTREMELY interesting pedigree, make him a FUTURE WINNER.
