Keara Utopia is a Herald 3 descendant of a Valliant dam, so the important blood of Heraldik, one of the proven sires for eventing, is represented. It also turns out that Valliant has a gift for eventing and passes on great thoroughbred pedigree.
The Utopia lineage or rather the Lady Reveil lineage has already produced a great many Grand Prix horses in dressage and show jumping. Given the addition of Heraldik blood by way of Heraldik 3, we believe Keara will be perfectly suited to eventing.
All descendants of second dam Esta do very well in the sport. For example, six-year-old star mare Initia is now competing at 130 and four-year-old Kyandro is jumping wonderfully and competing at 110. In free jumping, Keara displays great ability and talent. Third dam Initia competed at 1.35 metres. All the horses from this breeding line have a very fine canter and are down-to-earth, with ample capacity and tact.

Keara has only been saddled for a short time but is working really well and has made a very good impression in just one week with Janneke Boonzaaier. Keara jumps well and has a cooperative nature. A lovely horse on the ground too.

Janneke describes Keara: Lovely horse with many qualities for sport. Honest and reliable but on the ball, with good amount of blood and character

Sire Herald 3: “Blood will tell” and Herald III’s sire - the Thoroughbred stallion Heraldik xx continues to ‘speak’ through his offspring in show jumping (Herald III with Hoyo de Monterey), in dressage (H-Ekwador), but most notably in Eventing. A show-jumper himself, the Czech-bred Heraldik xx is the nr. 2 in the WBFSH rankings for eventer sires. This particularly through his top offspring: FRH Butts Avedon, Halunke FBW, Hamilton, Hans Damp, etc. We also find other top thoroughbred stallions in Herald III’s pedigree: Ladykiller xx, Manometer xx, Cottage Son xx and Anblick xx.

Also Herald III’s dam line is strong: Herald III’s half-brother Coolman jumped in Grand Prix’s and World Cups under Pius Schwizer. Dam Alassia also gave international jumper Merlin. Grand dam Sasskia brought the famous Falke, who was ridden so successfully by Gerhard Wiltfang. This dam line has also brought Larimar, Carlot, and Elastic Dream.

Palmares
Herald III was very successful under several riders: Pilar Lucrecia Cordon Muro, Markus Beerbaum, Eric Lamaze and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum placing very well, for example 1st Nations Cup Barcelona, 1st GP Vejer de la Frontera, 1st GP Saint Lo, 3rd Nations Cup Rome, 4th Nations Cup Lummen, 4th GP Mechelen, 5th Nations Cup La Baule, 7th GP Gijon, 7th Nations Cup Madrid etc.

Performing at the highest level for more than eight years, and with his interesting and proven family, we believe Herald III can be an asset for breeding bringing the optimum blend of blood and sport. Herald III’s first foals in the Netherlands meet all the expectations: they have charisma, blood and expression.

After finishing his successful sport career at the age of 15, Herald III does not meet the PROK criteria of the KWPN.

Herald III: 72,27% thoroughbred, with performance and pedigree at the highest level
