The sire of Glory ‘Conteur’ (Contender) provides an ample amount of thoroughbred pedigree and has been a proven sire in Europe for years. We find his descendants in jumping, dressage and eventing, all at the highest level. He himself was also very successful in sports and produced several champion foals. His most successful offspring are Copain Du Perchet CH, which won internationally at 5-star level in 2017, with Cian O’Connor. And Annabelle, born in 2008, was very successful in Intermediate Level II of dressage in 2008, with Helen Langehanenberg.

Dam Ofarim produced daughter Bravo, dam of stallions Contendro I and II, Cassito and Caretano Z. Ofarim is a daughter of the successful jump stallion Rasputin, which was bred close to Ramzes AA. In the 4th generation, we find thoroughbred Tin Rod XX.

Conteur’s sire, Contender, is one of the best stallions in Germany, in particular as a sire of jumpers with unique gaits and rideability.
The Elite bloodline is doubly represented in Glory’s dam’s line. Both dam’s sire Gottwald and second dam Domenika gained the Elite predicate and both had commendable achievements in the sport. The foal’s dam, and consequently self-evidently the foal, stem from a very prestigious lineage, respectively BWP prestige lineage 19. The full name of the lineage is ANKERZEICHEN, BWP prestige lineage 19, Schridde 151.
Gottwald (VM) produced several horses which gained exceptional achievements in jumping, dressage and the military. Here are just some of the results achieved by his offspring in eventing:
In 2005, Quick Misaura (s. Gottwald) wins the CIC** in Breda with Stefaan de Smet.
In 2012, 23-year-old Marilyn Wuytack becomes Belgian Champion Eventing, riding Horsemolen Eclipse (s. Gottwald).
A great many descendants are successful in a wide variety of disciplines and follow in the footsteps of Gottwald. Gottwald himself performed commendably at 1.45 metres and even produced 1.60 metres jumpers, including Vila Vita Quick (s. Gottwald) which came 2nd in the La Coruna 1.60 metres Grand Prix CSI**** in 2005.

When Dr. Ludwig Christmann of the Hanoverian studbook leadership visited, he called stallion Gottwald 'a better alternative than thoroughbred'; since Gottwald provides, just as a thoroughbred does, ample breeding, while passing on the best jumping genes.
